Now type sudo raspi-config and go to interfacing options and enable the VNC option. Now you are in the terminal window of the Raspberry Pi. ![]() ![]() Now open PuTTY and enter this IP address and authenticate the signature and login using the default username pi and password raspberry.What finally worked for me was: – install vino as described above – install dconf-editor as described in comments above and changes from default settings as follows: authentication-methods -> prompt-enabled -> false require-encryption. FWIW, I was having issues remoting from Mac (using the go to server vnc://a.b.c.d approach).
